Penguin Covers

As Max illustrates, the covers for the new Penguin Classics are quite beautiful.

And I'm not just talking about the ones drawn by contemporary cartoonists (pictured in Max's post). I'm talking about them all. How can you not love these?

I agree that new Penguin classics covers look great, especially compared to how dull they used to look with mint green spines and a fuzzy black and white photo on the cover.

I've been scooping up a lot of classics that would have normally taken me years to "bother" with just to get some of those covers.

Those really are wonderful...
